Employees
Employees are required for productive work; they work in buildings and
earn an hourly wage. There are three types of employees: workers,
engineers and scientists. Each kind of work requires different types
of employees. For example, extracting coal from a mine requires a lot
of workers, but relatively few scientists. Designing a new spaceship
requires a lot of engineers, but also a few workers for assembling
prototypes. Researching a new process for more efficient extraction
of metals from ore requires mainly scientific labor. Therefore, each
company should hire the workers it needs for the types of work it is
doing.
